La fonction exponentielle<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\nLa fonction \"\ln\" est continue et strictement croissante sur \"\mathbb{R}_+^*\" et \"\ln(\mathbb{R}_+^*)=\mathbb{R}\". D’apr\u00e8s le th\u00e9or\u00e8me de la bijection, la fonction logarithme n\u00e9p\u00e9rien r\u00e9alise une bijection de \"\mathbb{R}_+^*\" sur \"\mathbb{R}\". On appelle fonction exponentielle, not\u00e9e \"\exp\", la bijection r\u00e9ciproque de la fonction logarithme n\u00e9p\u00e9rien.\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\nLa fonction \"\ln\" est d\u00e9rivable sur \"\mathbb{R}_+^*\" et sa d\u00e9riv\u00e9e ne s’annule pas sur \"\mathbb{R}_+^*\", donc sa fonction r\u00e9ciproque est d\u00e9rivable sur \"\mathbb{R}\". Ainsi :\n

  <\/span>   <\/span>\"\[\forall x\in\R, \;(\exp)'(x)=\dfrac{1}{(\ln)'(\exp(x))}=\dfrac{1}{1/\exp(x)}=\exp(x).\]\"<\/p>\nLa fonction \"\exp\" est d\u00e9rivable sur \"\mathbb{R}\", elle est donc continue sur \"\mathbb{R}\", ce qui justifie que \"\exp\" est de classe \"\mathcal{C}^1\" sur \"\mathbb{R}\".\n\n\n\n

  • \"\forall n\in\Z\", \"\exp(x)^n=\exp(nx)\"; <\/li>\n
  • \"\displaystyle\exp\left(x-y\right)=\dfrac{\exp(x)}{\exp(y)}\"; <\/li>\n
  • \"\displaystyle\lim_{x\rightarrow -\infty}\exp(x)=0\"; <\/li>\n
  • \"\displaystyle\lim_{x\rightarrow +\infty}\exp(x)=+\infty\". <\/li>\n\n\n\n

  • Soient \"(x,y)\in\mathbb{R}\", on va montrer que : \"\exp(x+y)=\exp(x)\times\exp(y)\". On pose \"a=\exp(x)\" et \"b=\exp(y)\" de sorte que : \"x=\ln(a)\" et \"y=\ln(b)\", ainsi : <\/li>\n

  •   <\/span>   <\/span>\"\[\exp(x+y)=\exp(\ln(a)+\ln(b))=\exp(\ln(ab))=ab=\exp(x)\exp(y).\]\"<\/p> <\/li>\n\n

  • La relation \"\displaystyle\exp\left(-x\right)=\dfrac{1}{\exp(x)}\" se d\u00e9duit directement de la pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente.\nOn montre la relation \"\forall n\in\N\", \"\exp(x)^n=\exp(nx)\" par r\u00e9currence, on en d\u00e9duit que cette relation est vraie pour \"n\in\Z\". <\/li>\n\n
  • La relation \"\displaystyle\exp\left(x-y\right)=\dfrac{\exp(x)}{\exp(y)}\" est une cons\u00e9quence des deux premi\u00e8res relations. <\/li>\n\n
  • On \u00e9tudie les variations de la fonction \"g:x\mapsto \exp(x)- (1+x)\" sur \"\R\". <\/li>\n\n
  • Les limites se d\u00e9duisent directement des limites de la fonction \"\ln\". <\/li>\n\n\n\n

    <\/p>\nOn note \"\e=\exp(1)\". En utilisant les propri\u00e9t\u00e9s de la fonction exponentielle, on peut montrer que pour tout \"x\in\mathbb{R}\" : \"\exp(x)=\e^x\".
